Grief Retreat

Why a grief retreat?

In the absence of this depth of community, the safe container is difficult to find. By default, we become the container ourselves, and when this happens, we cannot drop into the well of grief in which we can fully let go of the sorrows we carry.  We recycle our grief, moving into it and then pulling it back in our bodies unreleased…..Grief has never been private; it has always been communal.
— Francis Weller

Our Grief Retreats offer space to reflect and explore in nature, practices to support the body while letting go, therapeutic story work, nourishing communal meals and time for ritual with an intimate group of women who support one another.  With trauma therapist, artist and ritual maker, Heather Stringer
